Née à Tours, en France, Céleste Kern a toujours eu un œil curieux et un cœur tourné vers l’ailleurs. Installée aujourd’hui à Sydney, elle poursuit un chemin fait d’explorations intérieures et de quêtes esthétiques, portée par un amour profond pour la photographie argentique.

 

Depuis l’enfance, Céleste est fascinée par cette manière si singulière de capturer l’instant. Loin du numérique immédiat, l’argentique lui offre une part de mystère, une magie du “sur le vif” et ce frisson unique au moment de découvrir, bien plus tard, ce que la pellicule a gardé en mémoire. Comme un cadeau que l’on se fait à soi-même.

 

Son regard se pose avec tendresse et poésie sur le monde qui l’entoure. Entre errances urbaines et paysages lointains, Céleste cherche toujours à capter l’âme d’un lieu, d’un moment, d’une émotion fugace. Chaque cliché devient une trace de sa propre traversée du monde — et de soi.
